Distinguishing between nonlinear channel transport and contact effects in organic FETs
We investigate charge injection and transport in organic field-effect transistors fabricated by using poly(2,5-bis(3tetradecylthiophene-2-yl)thieno[3,2-b]thiophene) (pBTTT-C14) or poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) as the active polymer layer. We show that in high mobility devices where the channel resistances are low compared to the contact resistances, the device performance can be dominated by th...
متن کاملMOBILITY MODELING IN SOI FETS FOR DIFFERENT SUBSTRATE ORIENTATIONS AND STRAIN CONDITIONS SHORT TITLE: MOBILITY MODELING IN SOI FETs
Conduction band modification due to shear stress is investigated. Mobility in singleand double-gate SOI FETs is modeled for Silicon thin body orientation (001) and (110) under general stress conditions. Decrease of conductivity mass induced by uniaxial [110] tensile stress leads to mobility enhancement in the stress direction in ultra-thin body SOI MOSFETs.
متن کاملScaling projections for Sb-based p-channel FETs
Numerical device modeling is used to study p-channel FETs with InSb, GaSb and InGaSb channels. To be as realistic as possible, the basic parameters are chosen to be those measured experimentally in state-ofthe-art high-mobility materials, and where possible, predictions are compared against published data. Confinement effects are captured in the simulations using the density-gradient descriptio...
متن کاملSpatial Segregation in Demography: A Short Review
Abstract. Spatial has always been an inherent component of demography, and demographic processes are inherently spatiotemporal. Recognizing the importance of spatial in general and spatial segregation in particular in demographic analysis has created new positions in demography and its conceptual and analytical frameworks. The notion of spatial segregation refers to the distribution of social...
